Liverpool to Nassau
Confederate sea route, 1861-1865.

- From
- Liverpool, England
- To
- Nassau, Bahamas
- Years
- 1861-1865
Most of the arms sent to the Confederacy left from Liverpool, where Fraser, Trenholm and Company handled the Confederacy's shipping and finance. Supplies bought in England went to Nassau in British merchant ships and were moved there onto faster, lighter blockade runners. Cotton came back the other way, stored at Nassau and shipped to England, usually Liverpool.
The line follows the sea lanes between the two ports. It shows the water a ship had to cross, not the course a runner sailed.
